TradeFuel
Strategy Profile Examples
Three complete TradeFuel strategy profiles — Conservative, Moderate, and Aggressive — with all settings and guidance on when to use each.
TradingForge allows you to save and reuse complete sets of TradeFuel settings as named profiles. A profile stores every DCA parameter — base order size, safety order configuration, take profit, and trailing settings — so you can quickly apply a tested configuration to any trading pair without re-entering values manually.
Conservative Profile
The conservative profile prioritizes capital preservation. It uses wide deviation steps to avoid triggering on routine volatility, a low number of safety orders to limit maximum exposure, and a higher take profit target to ensure meaningful returns per cycle. Cycle frequency is lower but each trade carries less risk.
Base Order Size: 50 USDT Safety Order Size: 75 USDT Max Safety Orders: 3 Price Deviation: 3.0% SO Step Scale: 1.1 SO Volume Scale: 1.2 Take Profit: 2.0% Trailing TP: Disabled ───────────────────────────────── Total Capital (worst case): Base: 50 SO1: 75 SO2: 90 (75 × 1.2) SO3: 108 (90 × 1.2) TOTAL: ~323 USDT per trade
Capital Requirements
| Order | Size (USDT) | Running Total |
|---|---|---|
| Base Order | 50 | 50 |
| SO1 (at −3.0%) | 75 | 125 |
| SO2 (at −6.3%) | 90 | 215 |
| SO3 (at −9.9%) | 108 | 323 |
Characteristics
- ›Maximum capital per trade: approximately 323 USDT
- ›Safety orders only fire on drops of 3%+ — avoids normal market noise
- ›Needs a 9.9% drawdown before all SOs fire — infrequent worst case
- ›2.0% TP provides a comfortable margin above fees
- ›Trailing disabled — clean, predictable exits
Best Used For
- ›Stable, high-liquidity pairs:
BTC/USDT,ETH/USDT - ›Ranging or sideways markets with moderate oscillation
- ›Traders new to TradeFuel who want to learn without large capital exposure
- ›Accounts with limited capital — this is the most budget-friendly option
Moderate Profile
The moderate profile balances risk and reward. It uses tighter deviation steps to average in more actively, a larger SO count for deeper drawdown coverage, and a growing volume scale to aggressively reduce average entry on deeper dips. Trailing TP helps capture more from recovery moves. Cycle frequency is higher than conservative.
Base Order Size: 50 USDT Safety Order Size: 100 USDT Max Safety Orders: 5 Price Deviation: 2.0% SO Step Scale: 1.2 SO Volume Scale: 1.5 Take Profit: 1.5% Trailing Deviation: 0.5% ───────────────────────────────── Total Capital (worst case): Base: 50 SO1: 100 SO2: 150 (100 × 1.5) SO3: 225 (150 × 1.5) SO4: 337.50 SO5: 506.25 TOTAL: ~1,369 USDT per trade
Capital Requirements
| Order | Size (USDT) | Running Total | Cumulative Drop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base Order | 50 | 50 | 0% |
| SO1 (−2.0%) | 100 | 150 | −2.0% |
| SO2 (−2.4%) | 150 | 300 | −4.4% |
| SO3 (−2.9%) | 225 | 525 | −7.2% |
| SO4 (−3.4%) | 337.50 | 862.50 | −10.5% |
| SO5 (−4.1%) | 506.25 | 1,368.75 | −14.4% |
Characteristics
- ›Maximum capital per trade: approximately 1,369 USDT
- ›Safety orders start firing at 2.0% drops — catches typical corrections early
- ›Volume scale of 1.5 means later SOs substantially lower average entry
- ›Trailing TP (0.5%) captures extended recovery moves for better exits
- ›1.5% TP is achievable in most normal recovery moves
Best Used For
- ›Mid-cap pairs with decent liquidity:
SOL/USDT,BNB/USDT,LINK/USDT - ›Markets with regular 5–15% corrections followed by recoveries
- ›Traders comfortable with $1,000+ per-trade exposure
- ›Accounts with $5,000–$10,000 running multiple pairs simultaneously
Aggressive Profile
The aggressive profile is designed for experienced traders who want maximum cycle frequency and profit extraction. It uses tight deviation steps and a high volume scale to rapidly average down through volatile moves, with a tight take profit to close trades quickly. The tradeoff is very high capital requirements per trade if all SOs fire.
Base Order Size: 25 USDT Safety Order Size: 50 USDT Max Safety Orders: 8 Price Deviation: 1.5% SO Step Scale: 1.3 SO Volume Scale: 2.0 Take Profit: 1.0% Trailing Deviation: 0.3% ───────────────────────────────── Total Capital (worst case): Base: 25 SO1: 50 SO2: 100 (50 × 2.0) SO3: 200 SO4: 400 SO5: 800 SO6: 1,600 SO7: 3,200 SO8: 6,400 TOTAL: ~12,775 USDT per trade
Capital Requirements
| Order | Size (USDT) | Running Total | Cumulative Drop |
|---|---|---|---|

| SO3 (−2.54%) | 200 | 375 | −5.9% |
| SO4 (−3.30%) | 400 | 775 | −9.1% |
| SO5 (−4.29%) | 800 | 1,575 | −13.3% |
| SO6 (−5.58%) | 1,600 | 3,175 | −18.6% |
| SO7 (−7.25%) | 3,200 | 6,375 | −25.5% |
| SO8 (−9.42%) | 6,400 | 12,775 | −34.8% |
Characteristics
- ›Maximum capital per trade: approximately 12,775 USDT
- ›Tight 1.5% starting steps mean SOs fire on almost any notable dip
- ›Volume scale of 2.0 creates exponential capital deployment on deep moves
- ›1.0% TP means many quick cycles with small but frequent profits
- ›Trailing deviation of 0.3% is very tight — exits quickly on any stall
Best Used For
- ›Experienced traders who understand the capital implications fully
- ›Higher volatility pairs with strong liquidity and recovery history
- ›Large accounts ($50,000+) running a small number of aggressive pairs
- ›Pairs in confirmed bull market conditions where recoveries are rapid

Saving and Applying Profiles
To save a configuration as a profile in TradingForge, navigate to Settings → Profiles, enter your desired settings, give the profile a name (e.g. "Conservative BTC"), and click Save. You can then apply any saved profile when configuring a trading pair by selecting it from the profile dropdown instead of entering values manually.
Profiles are stored locally on your machine and can be exported and shared between installations. This makes it easy to maintain a library of tested configurations for different market conditions and pairs.
